Giving Tuesday, held annually on the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving, is a global generosity movement for supporting charitable organizations. While in the warm afterglow of Thanksgiving dinner and Black Friday shopping with loved ones, we encourage you to reflect on the comforts and freedoms provided to us by the sacrifices made by our Warriors.

Our Service Dogs provide a lifeline for our injured Warriors upon their return home. As of 2022, 27% of all returning Veterans have a service-related disability. Our Service Dogs are taught over 100 different commands to assist with mobility issues with severities up to and including quadriplegia, and to mitigate symptoms of PTSD, TBI, and other trauma-related conditions in order to help our Warriors regain independence. Our Dogs serve our Warriors throughout their training by participating in social therapy and our Canine-Assisted Warrior Therapy Program®, through which each dog will impact the lives of between 40-60 Warriors before placement with their forever Warrior.

Our dogs receive extensive training over two and a half years. It cost $35,000 to fully train a Service Dog, including food, veterinary care, training, and participation in our Canine-Assisted Warrior Therapy® program. Relying primarily on individual donations, we are able to provide our programs and Assistance dogs to our Warriors at no-cost.

On this giving Tuesday, November 28, 2023 we humbly ask that you consider donating to our organization to further our cause of caring for our selfless and dedicated Warriors. There is a search option that will allow you to see if your employer will provide a matching gift as well. By doing so you can double the impact of your donation.

Monetary donations are one of the many ways you can help. We always have a need for Volunteers and Puppy Parents, and for those who will simply share the news of what we do with the Warriors in their lives who need it most.
