NEW GRAPHIC WRAPS FEATURE PPH DOGS

A golden lab stands beside a Paws for Purple Hearts van that has the PPH logo and a picture of the same dog in it.

That’s a wrap – a van wrap! Everyone will know when the Paws for Purple Hearts team arrives to serve Warriors now that our vans are covered in photos and graphics of our highly-trained dogs. Our teams across the nation are excited to represent PPH wherever they go thanks to the support of some amazing people.

We want to give a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteer, Sam Stone, for helping make this project happen. She donated her time and talents to take these amazing photos of our service-dogs-in-training, Drew and Liberty, that now serve as the faces of Paws for Purple Hearts on our comfortable, top-of-the line air conditioned vans.

Sam has been a dedicated volunteer with PPH San Diego since 2018. In addition to impromptu photoshoots and blog writing, Sam also volunteers as a puppy parent to help raise our service-dogs-in-training on weekends. In fact, her very first dog as a puppy parent was Drew, one of the dogs featured on the new van wrap, making this project extra special to her.

“Being a puppy parent to Drew has been so rewarding. I’ve watched him grow from an energetic puppy to this handsome gentleman who is the model of a great service dog (literally, now that he’s modeled for a van!). I was already so proud of him, and it felt even more special to show him off by photographing him to represent PPH.” – Sam Stone, PPH San Diego Volunteer

Sam is a great example of the important and diverse role that volunteers play in the success of our programs and in advancing our mission. No matter your skills, interests, or talents, you can make an impact. We also want to thank Direct Effect Wraps for their wonderfully done vinyl graphic van wrap and great customer service in San Diego.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on community support and welcome anyone who is interested in giving back to our nation’s Warriors. If you’re interested in getting involved at PPH, you can visit our website to find a location near you. Whether you want to volunteer your time and talents, become a puppy parent, or partner with us, we appreciate your support.
