Three Menlo Park Musketeers: Ozzy, Ralph and Timmy
We encourage you to read below to find out how our “Canine Musketeers” are helping Veterans with combat-related injuries such as Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) by joining in with all four paws to help us deliver our innovative Canine-Assisted Warrior TherapyTM. You can also find more updates and pictures on our Facebook page.
Ozzy has made himself right at home at Menlo Park. He is a goof ball that is excited to work. See him in public working on his exposure to all things blue. Find him at #PPHOzzy
Ralph’s stay in Menlo Park was brief. He will be returning back to our San Diego facility in the next week where he will continue his training.
Timmy is on his way to become a daddy. He was bred with a Golden Retriever named Tera at the Bergin College of Canine Studies. We are keeping our fingers crossed for lots of puppies in the near future. Find him at #PPHTimmy
Webb continues on his path to recovery. His vision comes and goes but his spirit never dies. Please drop in the Welcome Center at the Menlo Park VA and give him love. He works on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Help cover some of Webb’s medical cost: Go Fund Me page.
The Paws for Purple Hearts Menlo Park team covers a service area that includes San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. They are located at the VA facility in Menlo Park, CA.
